Turns out, after 10 years, Chipotle has came out to confess that their pinto beans are cooked with “a small amount of bacon”.
The menus never indicated the ingredient and now the Vegans and Vegetarians are PISSED!

I was under the impression that people always knew that the pinto beans weren’t vegan as I’ve always ordered the black beans because of this?
Dude, I’ve never ever eaten the pinto beans at Chipotle, even before I became vegan! The black beans are so much better, in my humble opinion.
Uhmm it says on their website that the pinto beans are not vegan friendly soooo idk why they would be mad either
yeah I thought this was common knowledge? If you have to buy special refried beans that say vegetarian, I dont see why people wouldn’t connect the dots with pinto beans at chipotle. All anyone had to do was ask.
Not vegan friendly is not the same as not vegetarian friendly
